Wait! Don’t start yet! Put some -appropriate- music on first!
Τhe last two months we have been disappeared! Both! July was a strange period full of changes. Some people left, others changed, and some made new beginnings. So, under these circumstances, the urge to keep our distance from the blog for a while came up. Then it was the August, the vacations season and we literary disappeared! We kept laptop and worries in a case, and went to our happy places and all over, as well!
This year’s goal was to spend as much time as I could underwater! (Therefore I used to dive in immediately when we arrived, without waiting the typical 20 minutes and entering slowly into the water)! On holidays I shared greek mezedes with my friends, thinking to become ambassador of “Let’s all eat together from the same plate” in Europe (I am available if you want!). This summer we followed the tradition of looking the most secret beaches, and they reward us with the most crystal clear water. Due to the long period of one month in Greece, I spend enough time with my family (not enough but it will never be enough, anyway) and we charge each other’s’ love batteries. I talked a lot with my beloved ones and we ended un (again) that no matter how many professional, economic, practical problems we have…out major concern will be “he wants me or not, what do you think?”. I bought and read many books under the umbrella / on the ship. I became a tourist in my city and I realized that Athens is a chaos that I love (not to hate)!
I did free camping and I became like little child despite the fact the we were talking about when we will make our own children (NOT SOON). I ate so many organic vegetables from our garden that the eggplant tasted like souvlaki (Ok exaggeration, I take it back!) I read old and new magazines, exploring the Greek media field… and I was sadly disappointed. I was stung by evil mosquitoes. I realized that the Cretan hospitality is not another touristic myth. I went back to my roots to say goodbye. I managed to go to an open air cinema just before my departure. And finally, before my thirties and after years and years of shameful assumption “yes, actually I do not know bike, I have never learned, not even I was a kid …” I did it! I learned a bike! And I think that if you manage to balance on two wheels … then the rest is piece of cake!
PS: La vie en blog pondered on how to continue. However ended up respect its own nature, it can’t be wrong! We will continue and we will focus on our lives. Everything we do and love. Highlights, travels, food, shops, activities, our style. Exception? When we attend an event so in that case it will do more about old fashion report! You will wonder why you should be interested on your lives?’ Well, there are people who enjoy to watch the same person wearing the same clothes in 10 different poses. So yes, they might be some out there who will like what we do…
