“Le bonheur est parfois caché dans l’inconnu”

“Happiness is sometimes hidden in the unknown”

My mind was wandering around this famous quote of Victor Hugo, months before my departure to France. So, in January of 2011, I left my comfort zone in Greece and moved to Paris. I had never visited the city of lights before, only through movies and songs. A whole new world was in front of me. Since then, much has changed, little remained the same but I can now say with certainty that with all the goods and the bads, this city changed me forever!

Now, I am trying to meet new places and live new experiences both in my two cities, Athens and Paris but also around the world, as often as I can. Because for me, traveling is the only thing that matters in life after love. The only thing that could make me completely happy, besides true love.

My passion for writing, which is also my job (I am a travel, fashion and cultural journalist) and then my interest for photography drove me to observe everything around me like it’s the first time I see it and capture the beauty out of it. At first, came the blog My Parisienne Walkways with my Parisian discoveries and then came La Vie En Blog, a travel/experience and lifestyle blog with the aim to prove that there are so many places to visit and so many amazing experiences to live around us that we should not waste any time.

However, this blog was born by two girls, me and Lena, on a parisian roof garden on the 9th floor of a building at Champs-Elysées, with the view of Eiffel Tower and this could be nothing less than pure inspiration! Now it’s only me, but Lena would be always, the other half, the soul mate, the media naranja of this blog!
